Audio Translation allows you to:

How It Works

Step 1: Upload Your Audio File

1. Go to the Audio Translation section
2. Click Upload Audio or drag and drop your file
3. Select the source language (or use auto-detect)
4. Choose your target language
5. (Optional) Select a Domain (General, Legal, Medical, Politics, Financial, Education, Marketing, Tech)

Step 2: Process Translation

XTranslator will:

• Extract audio content
• Transcribe speech to text
• Translate the text to your target language
• Provide the translated transcript

Step 3: Get Your Results

You'll receive:

• Translated text transcript
• Original language detected (if auto-detect was used)
• Word count and duration information

Domains

Selecting a domain tailors terminology and tone for audio translations. The chosen domain is sent with the request and influences the translation output (e.g., Legal vs Medical).

Credits Usage

Audio translation consumes 5 credits per file, regardless of:

• File size (within limits)
• Duration (within limits)
• Language pair
• Audio quality

Example (Starter Plan - 200 monthly credits):

• Translate 10 audio files = 50 credits used
• Remaining: 150 credits for other translations

Credits are deducted from your monthly allocation. When monthly credits run out, Extra Credits are used automatically (if available).
