Credit System Explained

XTranslator uses a two-tiered credit system:

Daily Credits

• Reset every day at midnight UTC
• Included with your subscription
• Cannot be carried over to next day
• Used first before flex credits

Flex Credits

• Never expire
• Available for purchase separately
• Used only after daily credits are exhausted
• Available for text translations only
• Can be purchased in packages:
  • 100 credits: $4.99
  • 500 credits: $19.99 (save 20%)
  • 1000 credits: $34.99 (save 30%)

How Credits Are Used

Each translation type consumes credits differently:

Example (Pro Plan - 200 daily credits):

• Translate 15 documents = 15 credits
• Translate 15 images = 15 credits
• Translate 20 audio files = 20 credits
• Translate 25 OCR requests = 25 credits
• Total: 75 credits used, 125 remaining for any combination of features

Billing Frequency

Choose what works best for you:

Monthly Billing

• Billed on the same day each month
• Most flexible option
• Cancel anytime without penalty
• Charges appear as "XTranslator Monthly - [Plan Name]"

Annual Billing

• Billed once per year
• Save 17% compared to monthly
• Best value for committed users
• Charges appear as "XTranslator Annual - [Plan Name]"

Payment Methods

We accept:

• Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
• Debit Cards: Most major debit cards
• Digital Wallets: PayPal, Google Pay (availability varies by region)

Payment Processing:

• Powered by Lemon Squeezy (secure payment processor)
• PCI-DSS compliant
• Your card details are never stored on our servers
• All transactions use 256-bit SSL encryption

Managing Your Subscription

Upgrading Your Plan

1. Go to Profile > Subscription
2. Click Change Plan
3. Select your new plan
4. Confirm upgrade
5. Changes take effect immediately
6. Pro-rated credit for unused time on current plan

Downgrading Your Plan

1. Go to Profile > Subscription
2. Click Change Plan
3. Select a lower-tier plan
4. Confirm downgrade
5. Changes take effect at the end of current billing period
6. You keep access to current plan until then

Cancelling Your Subscription

1. Go to Profile > Subscription
2. Click Cancel Subscription
3. Follow cancellation wizard
4. Confirm cancellation
5. Access continues until end of billing period
6. Automatically downgrade to Free plan afterward

Important Notes:

• No refunds for partial months
• Unused credits are not refunded
• Flex credits remain on your account
• You can resubscribe anytime

Usage Tracking

Monitor your usage in real-time:

1. Go to Profile > Overview

2. View Today's Usage section:

   • Daily credits remaining
   • Documents translated today
   • Images translated today
   • Audio files translated today
   • OCR requests today

3. View Historical Usage:

   • Past 7 days breakdown
   • Past 30 days summary
   • Credit consumption patterns

Billing Statements

Access your billing history:

1. Go to Profile > Subscription
2. Click Billing History
3. View all past invoices
4. Download PDF receipts
5. Update billing information

Not currently, but you can cancel and resubscribe anytime without penalty.
