Learn how to create, configure, and manage your XTranslator account for the best experience.
Creating Your Account
Sign-Up Methods
XTranslator offers two convenient sign-up options:
Email & Password
- Visit XTranslator.app
- Click Sign In > Sign Up
- Enter your email address
- Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
- Click Create Account
- Check your email for verification link
- Click the verification link to activate your account
Google Sign-In
- Visit XTranslator.app
- Click Sign In
- Select Sign in with Google
- Choose your Google account
- Grant necessary permissions
- Your account is created and verified automatically
Email Verification
Why verify your email?
- Ensures account security
- Enables password reset
- Receives important notifications
- Required for paid subscriptions
Didn't receive the verification email?
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Wait a few minutes (emails can be delayed)
- Click "Resend verification email" in your profile
- Contact support if issues persist
Profile Configuration
Access your profile settings by clicking your profile picture > Profile > Overview.
Personal Information
- Display Name: How your name appears in the app
- Email Address: Your primary contact (cannot be changed after sign-up)
- Profile Picture: Upload a custom avatar or use your Google profile picture
Preferences
Interface Language
Choose your preferred language for the app interface:
- English
- Arabic
- Spanish
- French
- Japanese
- Chinese
Note: This only changes the app's interface language, not the translation languages.
Default Translation Settings
- Default Source Language: Auto-selected for new translations
- Default Target Language: Your most common target language
- Preferred Domain: Default domain for specialized translations
Notification Settings
Control what emails you receive:
- Account Updates: Important account changes and security alerts (cannot disable)
- Usage Alerts: Notifications when approaching daily limits
- Marketing Updates: Product news and special offers
- Newsletter: Translation tips and industry insights
Security Settings
Password Management
Changing Your Password
- Go to Profile > Overview
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter new password (twice for confirmation)
- Click Update Password
Password Requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one number
- Special characters recommended but not required
Forgot Password
- Click Sign In
- Select Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for reset link
- Click link and enter new password
- Confirm new password
Security Tips:
- Use a unique password not used elsewhere
- Consider using a password manager
- Change your password regularly
- Never share your password
Account Security
- Email Verification: Always keep your email verified
- Secure Connection: XTranslator always uses HTTPS
- Sign Out: Always sign out on shared devices
- Activity Monitoring: Check your account for unusual activity
Account Deletion
Want to delete your account? Here's what happens:
- All your personal data is permanently deleted
- Your subscription is immediately cancelled
- Unused credits are forfeited
- Action cannot be undone
To delete your account:
- Go to Profile > Overview
- Scroll to bottom and click Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
- Enter your password
- Account is permanently deleted
Before deleting:
- Download any important translations
- Cancel any active subscriptions
- Use remaining credits
- Consider downgrading to Free plan instead
Privacy & Data
What Data We Collect
- Account information (email, name)
- Usage statistics (translations performed, features used)
- Payment information (handled securely by payment processor)
What Data We Don't Store
- Your translated content (deleted after processing)
- Payment card details (handled by third-party processor)
- Browsing history outside XTranslator
Data Access & Export
Request a copy of your data:
- Contact support via Contact Us
- Verify your identity
- Receive data export within 30 days

- No payment required
- 35 daily credits
- All features available
- Daily usage limits apply
Paid Account
- Subscription-based billing
- Higher daily credits (100-500 depending on plan)
- Higher per-request limits
- Flex credits available for purchase
- Priority support (Pro and Ultimate plans)
Managing Multiple Accounts
Can I have multiple accounts?
Yes, but:
- Each account requires a unique email address
- Each account is billed separately
- Cannot transfer credits between accounts
- Cannot merge accounts
Best Practices
- Use one account per individual
- Consider team plans for organizations (coming soon)
- Keep business and personal accounts separate if needed
Account Troubleshooting
Can't Sign In
- Verify you're using the correct email
- Try password reset if needed
- Check if account is verified
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser
- Contact support
Email Not Received
- Check spam/junk folder
- Verify email address is correct
- Add noreply@XTranslator.app to contacts
- Request resend
- Contact support if issue persists
Account Locked
If your account shows as locked:
- Check your email for security alerts
- May be due to suspicious activity
- Contact support immediately
- Never occurred due to usage limits
